A VOICE THAT FEELS RIGHT

Choose a voice

Brixie will use an available English voice from this device. The choices below are voices your browser provides.

Voice choices vary by device. You can add more voices in your device’s accessibility or spoken-content settings.

OPTIONAL AI CONNECTION

Connect Brixie’s AI

Deploy Brixie’s free Cloudflare Worker, then paste its public workers.dev address here. The address ends in /chat. Do not paste an API key.

AI replies use Cloudflare Workers AI’s free daily allowance and Wikipedia search extracts, with source links. Free usage is limited; when it runs out, Brixie will say so. Your messages are sent to Cloudflare AI and Wikipedia search, so avoid sharing sensitive information. This is not unrestricted web search and can make mistakes.

OPTIONAL GOOGLE CONNECTION

Connect your calendar

To connect, Google needs an OAuth web-client ID for this website:

  1. Open Google Cloud, choose or create a project, and enable the Google Calendar API.
  2. Set up the OAuth consent screen and add the Google account you’ll connect as a test user if Google asks.
  3. Create an OAuth client ID → Web application. Add this exact origin under Authorized JavaScript origins: https://brightwebs.github.io. For local testing, also use http://localhost:5173.
  4. Paste the client ID below, save, then choose Connect and approve Google’s access request.

Only the public client ID belongs here—never paste a client secret. Google requires the authorized origin to match exactly.

When you connect, Google will ask permission to read, add, edit, and delete calendar events. Brixie keeps the temporary sign-in token in memory, not in saved browser storage. Disconnect or remove Brixie’s access from your Google Account at any time. Google may show an unverified-app warning while your OAuth project is in testing.

A LITTLE PRIVACY PROMISE

Your plans are yours.

Your to-do list is saved on this device. Voice recognition may use the speech service provided by your browser or device. Brixie does not send your plans to a Brixie server. Optional Google Calendar access is used only after you choose to connect and approve it.

This browser version needs to stay open to show an in-app reminder when it’s due. Speaking aloud uses the available device voice.
